What is Breeze?

Breeze is HubSpot’s built-in AI assistant, directly accessible through your HubSpot portal. It will help with everything from drafting emails and summarizing CRM records to generating reports and automating repetitive sales and service tasks—all without leaving your workflow.

Step 1: Accessing Breeze

  1. Log in to HubSpot:
    Head to your HubSpot portal using your usual credentials.

  2. Find the Breeze Sidebar:
    On the right side of your HubSpot workspace, you’ll see the Breeze icon. Click to open the AI assistant.

  3. Welcome Walkthrough:
    If this is your first time, Breeze may present a short, guided tour. Follow the prompts to get familiar with its features.

Step 2: Configuring Breeze for Your Team

  1. Set Permissions:
    Make sure users have the required permissions. Typically, if your team has access to contacts, companies, deals, tasks, or tickets, they’ll be able to fully use Breeze.

  2. User Preferences:
    Customize notification settings and task reminders via Breeze’s sidebar menu.

  3. Connect Integrations:
    If you want Breeze to work with external calendars or communication tools, connect these apps under Settings > Integrations

Step 3: Using Breeze for Daily Tasks

  • Ask Questions:
    Type natural language questions into Breeze, such as “Summarize this company record” or “Show me new leads this week.”

  • Draft Content:
    Create follow-up emails, blog content, or call summaries with simple prompts.

  • Automate Workflows:
    Use Breeze to trigger HubSpot workflows, delegate tasks, or schedule meetings directly from your sidebar.

    For best results, maintain accurate CRM records—Breeze’s suggestions are only as good as your data.

Breeze helps you generate polished content quickly. Here’s how it works when writing a blog post inside of HubSpot:

  • Go to Marketing > Website > Blog 

  • If available, look for a Breeze or Start with AI tab at the top within the editing interface. You will be taken to a screen with these four easy steps.



  • You should be prompted to enter a topic, keywords, target audience, and country.

  • Next, you can choose a blog title.

  • Then, review and polish the outline.

  • Click Generate blog post.

  • Once the blog post is drafted, you can go back and start your editing process.

    • Fun feature you can use Breeze to create a featured image with a simple prompt in your blog settings: 



- Click Generate with AI (you may need to do this a few times to find the right image or make sure to know exactly what you are looking for in your prompt).

 


  • Review, edit, and publish - it’s all that easy.
